I remember WMC Day February 1969 when I went forward to the alter at Maple and Quarry St. and committed my life to Christ in a very serious and heart felt way. I remember seeking the Baptism in the Holy Spirit during the alter time after services praying for God to fill me with His Spirit. I remember the first time I spoke in tongues and the freedom of expression that it gave me in my prayer life. I remember how afterwards I was motivated to serve this congregation and the Lord like never before.
