Pastor Scott,
My fiance (Anthony)
and I have been
coming to MAG since
Easter and have
loved every minute!
But this past Sunday
God really spoke to
us. When you gave
this Sundays alter
call, I came up to a
cross and kneeled to
pray. I began
crying, praying that
God would move in my
life and Anthony's.
I prayed that he
would come into our
lives and be in our
relationship as we
make this venture
into marriage. I
also prayed that God
would bless us with
work. Shortly before
the you went back to
the pulpit I went
back to my seat next
to Anthony. You
asked for people to
raise their hands if
they need prayer for
jobs. (Anthony has
been out of work for
4 weeks and I'm a
freelance of
interpreter and work
is scarce.) We
raised our hands and
people from in front
and behind us came
over to pray with
us.
(Here is the best
part!!) Today I
received several
emails nearly
filling my week with
work! And Anthony
got a phone call for
a job asking him to
start tomorrow!!
This job offers him
a great opportunity
to grow in his field
and the ability to
be promoted within
the workplace. We
feel so blessed and
thankful for what
God has given us
that I just had to
share it with you.
God IS good!
I look forward to
our continued
worship in God and
am excited to see
here He leads us!
Thank you for
listening and for
being the Pastor
we've needed.
See you Wednesday!
(It'll be our first
Wednesday night
service!!)

When a person dies
the body goes to
the grave, while
the inner man goes
to Sheol or Hades.
Hades/Sheol
supposedly contains
two compartments:
hell for the wicked
and paradise for
the just.
Since Christ's
resurrection, the
compartment of
comfort and rest
has been emptied.
What I would like
to know is: Where
did those souls go?
When people die
now where do their
souls go?
What will happen to
them in
resurrection day?

Just want to let you
know that everything
I experience at MAG
fuels God's purpose
in my life. I have
had a cry of prayer
for the salvation,
healing and
deliverance of the
city of Manassas for
almost 2 years. And
I have always
believed that I am
called to reach the
unchurched. Praise
God, MAG is both my
place of worship and
my training ground.
Jordan Mauck (06.29.2010 @ 09:52:08)
I am a 16 year-old
girl and in March of
this year started my
journey of severe
suffering. I went to
several doctors in
attempt to figure
out what that one
kick in my first
varsity soccer game
of my junior year
did to my foot and
finally after
several procedures
and doctors visits,
I was diagnosed with
RSD. RSD, also
called CRPS, is a
nerve disorder that
most doctors know
nothing about and no
one cure has been
found. It has been
brought to my
knowledge rapidly
over the past couple
of weeks and days
that my condition is
going to spread and
attack the rest of
my body. In the past
days the disorder
has moved from my
foot all the way
through my left leg
and is starting to
develop in my left
arm. It causes me
unbearable pain,
that no medicine nor
shot nor surgery can
touch, plus the
motion is lost
somewhat. It is so
painful, that in
some areas i can not
stand to have those
areas even blown on
with the slightest
bit of air.
Yesterday, my father
found a place just
for RSD patients
that can give me a
three day treatment
that can take my
condition away or at
least stop the pain.
I ask for prayers to
help us find the
means to be able to
make this trip
possible and to help
my family and those
around me to have
comfort in the
coming days. Also i
ask for prayer to
help me live each
and every day as
normally as i
possibly can,
without pain and
with movement.
Finally though i
would like to share
that i don't wish
any of what has
happened was any
different because
this is my
testimony, God has
drawn me closer to
him. My walk is the
strongest it has
ever been and is
staying this way. I
hope that i may use
this to show people
around me that God
is the one and only
way, to draw them to
our father. Overall
i hope that through
all of this i reach
my goals of helping
others and most of
all helping others
come closer to God.
