How to be baptized
MAG believes the Word of God instructs all believers to be baptized as a public declaration of a personal decision to follow Christ. We believe the Bible is clear that this is to be done after making a decision to follow Christ. That is why we do not baptize infants as some denominations practice. As long as the person is old enough to have made a personal decision to follow Christ and understands what that means, they are qualified to be a baptisimal candidate.
Baptisms are scheduled approximately every other month. They are conducted during each of the three weekend worship services. Candidates for baptism are required to attend a single baptism class, offered the Sat, Sun, & Wed prior to the event. This class will help each candidate fully understand the purpose of this important ceremony and provide practical details in preparation for the event.
To find out more information about the next baptismal service and class, contact Pastor Doug at 703-368-2895.
How to dedicate your baby
Baby dedications are scheduled during regular weekend services typically on a quarterly basis. Dates are published in the bulletin approximately one month in advance. Contact Colette West at Colette@magchurch.org or 703-368-2895 to register.
How to schedule facilities or an event
