The Teen Bible Quiz team is a great place to get connected. The team is involved in preparing for and participating in the Assembly of God Bible Quiz annual competition. The team travels to various locations throughout the season and has opportunities to advance to regional and national level competition.
Brotherhood/Sisterhood - Thursdays 7:00 pm
Brotherhood/Sisterhood are our teen mentoring groups for guys and girls from grades 7th-12th. We split into two seperate groupd and meet each Thursday for some fun, games, and devotions. The meeting place varies so contact PASTOR T. J. Denman or Ashley Gonzalez at agonzalez@magchurch.org or by phone at 703-257-6788, to find out where they will meet this week.
The Brotherhood/Sisterhood is currently on break until March.
6th - 8th Grade Girls - Wednesdays, 7:30 - 9:00 pm
Friends Club provides discussion-oriented lessons to continue the Titus 2 principle of women mentoring young girls. Topics of study include the sanctity of life, accountability, commitment to Christ, life-controlling problems, purity, and choices. Units are made up of six lessons. Projects and Adventures add to each unit. The completion of unit requirements and Bible reading make a girl eligible to be a Friends Graduate.
6th - 8th Grade Guys - Wednesdays, 7:30 - 9:00 pm
Adventure Rangers is for young men who seek adventures and desire to learn through experiences. Adventure Rangers are highly involved with the camping experience and continue to learn about becoming a leader. They will find that merits have now become more detailed and experiences will allow them to help others in the Ranger ministry.
9th - 12th Grade Young Women - Sundays at 9:00 AM
Girls Only Club gives young women a place to grow in God. Discussion-oriented units include women in ministry, college and career, truth, dating, pro-life vs. pro-choice, and attitude. Six-lesson units are complemented with projects and Adventures. Completion of unit requirements and Bible reading make a girl eligible to be a Girls Only Graduate.
9th - 12th Grade Young Men - Wednesdays, 7:30 - 9:00 pm
Expedition Rangers is considered a high action-packed adventure trail in which each young man is further challenged by advanced camping, camp craft skills, and ministry opportunities. These activities offer Expedition Rangers in this age group ways to become more self-reliant and develop confidence and a greater appreciation of God. Young men will be challenged to serve through Home Missions, Foreign Missions, Youth Ministry, and Men’s Ministry.
