About Online Giving

God has given us so much!  Offering part of our earnings back to Him by tithing is a form of worship and obedience.  You can give each week during services in the conventional way, or we now offer you the ability to give online. Giving online eliminates some paperwork, but it's also a way to help you be disciplined about regular giving. If you've decided to give online, you can use the time during worship when the offering basket comes around to thank God for how He's blessed you and to contemplate the way our small offerings become huge in His hands.

There are Two Ways You Can Give Online:
One-time Gifts. The form below allows you to bring a one-time gift to MAG using your Visa, Master Card (Debit or Credit), or Discover Card only. (Sorry, no American Express or direct debit from your checking account is currently available with this option). This is the quickest way to give. Simply fill out the form below and click "submit."

Recurring Giving. This option allows you to give with all the credit and debit cards listed above, but also allows you to automatically debit from your bank account. If you schedule a repeating offering from your checking account, that saves the church 3% - 5% in credit card processing fees.

Here's how to set up a schedule for regular tithing and giving:

1.  Log in to your myMAG account. (You must log in to myMAG to schedule recurring giving.) If you don't yet have a myMAG account, click here to sign up. MyMAG not only enables recurring online giving, it also allows you to connect with others at MAG, keep up with your classes and groups, and much more.

2.  Click the "give" button right above your profile picture on the right-hand side of the screen. Follow the instructions there to set up your giving.

3.  If you have any questions or need help setting up the account, email Susan at susan@magchurch.org or call her at 703-368-2895, Monday - Thursday, 9 am - 5 pm.

I Want to Increase My Giving. It's easy! Here's all you do: Stop your current giving by clicking on the little red stop sign in "My Giving Schedules." Then increase your giving by clicking the green "Give" button at the bottom of the page and following the instructions there.

Is Online Giving Safe? Both one-time and recurring giving is completely secure. To find out more, you can click on the red "Comodo" triangle at the bottom right side of the form below.

Will I Get Credit for My Giving for Tax Purposes?  No matter how you give (one-time, each week, electronically, or in person), you'll still receive a giving statement from the church at the end of each calendar year. Please note: if you give in person, those gifts won't show up on the online statement that you can check. They will show up, however, on the end-of-year statement the business office sends you.
