Scott Leib - Senior Pastor
Pastor Scott and Lila Leib have been in full-time ministry for over 20 years. Scott served at Manassas Assembly of God in a variety of pastoral roles for 14 years before being installed as Senior Pastor in June of 2002. Scott and Lila share a passion to see people come to faith in Christ and to grow in their relationship to Jesus. They have three children and enjoy the Virginia seasons and spending time together as a family. Contact Pastor Scott.
Doug Chapman - Spiritual Formation Pastor

Doug serves as the Spiritual Formation Pastor and oversees adult Life Groups, Bible Classes, and Prayer Teams, and coordinates the Wednesday evening Chapel teaching. He and his wife, Donna, have served for 24 years in several ministry capacities as a lead pastor, associate pastor, and youth pastor/director of Christian education in four congregations in Michigan and Illinois.
Prior to joining the MAG staff Doug served 11 years in higher education as a professor of religious studies and a university administrator. He completed the Ph.D. in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education from Michigan State University; holds a M.A. from Ashland Theological Seminary with a double major in Christian Education and Church History; and a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Central Bible College.
In his spare time, he enjoys genealogical studies, model railroads, learning about the American Civil War, and Ohio State Football. Doug and Donna have two adult children – Douglas (wife Mandy) and Genevieve – and two terrific grandkids, Isaac and Jordan.
Pastor Doug Dreesen - Mission Pastor
Personals:
As the Pastor of Mission, Doug gets to work with some great people doing the great commission. Doug has been a part of the MAG family since 2006. He & Sherri have now lived on both coasts and in between. They are loving life in VA and are the proud parents of two teenagers, Caleb, 18, & Allison, 17.
After spending 16 years as a lay leader along with the occasional pastoral role, he was called into full-time ministry. Doug was raised in a traditional Lutheran-Catholic family, and started following Christ when he was 20. He graduated from San Diego Christian College with a business degree, spent 4 years working full-time for the Salvation Army, & graduated with an M. Div. from the Assembly of God Theological Seminary.
Passions:
- loving my wife & kids
- to see people who are far from God, no matter where they are, come into a relationship with Christ and His church.
- to see the church get outside the walls and be the church that Christ intended it to be.
Plays:

Bernice Fielder - Children's Pastor

Bernice is our Children's Pastor.
She also oversees our Early Childhood Ministries.
Bernice was born in Billings, Montana; however, she spent most of her childhood in Kenya, Africa. Most of her adult years have been spent in the Pacific Northwest where she got her BAE and teaching certificate at Eastern Washington University. After she graduated, she went on to teach junior high for seven years, taught ex-pat kids as a missionary associate in the Republic of Georgia for two years, and served as a Children’s Pastor for 5+ years at a church in Shoreline, WA.
She enjoys chatting over a good cup of coffee with friends; loves inspiring others and being inspired; delights in adventure; loves to teach and work with kids; traveling and seeing new things thrill her; and she firmly believes that chocolate is its own food group.
Mexican and Thai food are at the top of her “favorites” list for sure.
Pastor Kevin Hockenbury - Youth Pastor
Born in Philadelphia and raised in South Florida, Kevin now serves as the Youth Pastor here at MAG. He and his wife, Stacy, work side-by-side and have a passion for reaching kids from all backgrounds.
Three of his main principles for youth ministry are:
- To have students reach students.
- To build a secure foundation through the WORD in the lives of young people that will hold up for the rest of their lives.
- To show students that they can overcome many obstacles and achieve things that they never thought they could.
What Kevin does for fun
- watches and plays most sports
- spends time with his wife and daughter (Julia), dog (Chloe) and cat (Dr. Peter Venkman)
- fishes, which many consider a sport, but it’s really not.
- reads - Any book that challenges him to grow as a minister, Christian or husband. (Has no time for novels)
Eats
- Just about anything, including, but not limited to, Chinese, Thai, Italian, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Cheese steaks, Chipotle…

Tom Moore - Pastoral Care Pastor
Tom is the Pastor of Pastoral Care. His ministry encompasses singles, the senior adults group Young at Heart, ushers, greeters, shut-ins, hospital visitation, benevolence ministry, and counseling. He also leads the Men’s Ministry Missions Building Teams that have worked to build the Agape Gospel Mission Children’s Village in Ghana, West Africa. He is married to his high school sweetheart of 40 years, Judy. Contact Pastor Tom.
Dwayne Smith - Worship & Creative Arts Pastor
Dwayne is our Worship and Creative Arts Pastor. He is a graduate of Evangel University and has been in full-time worship arts ministry for the past 15 years serving churches in the midwest and Seattle, Washington. Dwayne and his wife, Stephanie, have 3 young boys and one girl -- Riley, Braden, Micah, and Cadence.
His days off are spent with his family jumping on the trampoline and taking them to Krispy Kreme and Starbucks.
Favorite pastimes: Kayaking, running, street hockey,skiing and recovering from jumping on the trampoline with his boys.

Gary West - Media and Communications Pastor
Gary West is our Media and Communications Pastor. Gary directs the video production, graphic design, visual art, photography departments of MAG's Worship and Creative arts ministry. Gary is also responsible for event and ministry promotion, as well as the internal and external communication strategy, and managing the web site. Gary is a retired USAF Colonel who served for 27 years as an F-15 & F-16 fighter pilot. Gary’s wife, Colette, serves at MAG as the Senior Pastor’s Administrative Assistant. Gary and Colette have three sons: Preston (wife Wencke), Brandon (wife Andi), and Aaron (wife Naleen). Contact Pastor Gary.
Eveline Adcock - Compassion Ministries Director
Eveline directs MAG’s Compassion Ministries, including the food and clothes closet. Because of her efforts, MAG is able to open its door to those in need in a meaningful way. Each Wednesday afternoon, she can be seen helping our guests find important food items and select clothing items. Eveline also helps grieving families, providing meals during times of bereavement or hospitalization, and maintains teams of people who visit the sick. Contact Eveline.
Noreen Bryant- Publications Director
Noreen joined the MAG staff in 2006 after 25 years as a creative director in the corporate and higher education worlds. She has also worked in magazine publishing and journalism. She has a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan. Noreen does most of the writing and graphic design for MAG. She and her husband, Bruce, are ardent cheerleaders of the MAG Saturday night service and Sunday 10:47 service. They serve on the Prayer Team and also enjoy being involved in the Alpha Course. Barbara Dripps - Senior Director of Operations
Barbara joined the MAG staff in 2008 as the Director of Finance. She comes to us with 30 years' experience in Finance, most recently as the Finance Director of the Fairfax County Housing authority. She and her husband, John, have worshiped at MAG for almost 30 years. They've been involved in many different ministries here at MAG over the years, including coordinating the Nursery and leading Royal Rangers and Girls Ministries. Melinda Luce - Hospitality Director
Melinda is over our Hospitality Ministry, providing assistance in meals/beverages, event planning, and commercial food service training. Melinda has worked in just about every facet of church service. She has been a youth lay leader, Bible study teacher, and a food pantry/clothing director. She has run a ministry to prisoner’s families, oversaw community Thanksgiving dinner/free clothing giveaways with multiple churches, counseled people, served on a church office staff, and started a women’s ministry. She holds a degree in Crisis Intervention from Suffolk County Community College in Selden, New York. Before coming to MAG, she worked in the printing industry 25 years. On December 27, 2009, here at MAG, she married her precious gift from God, John Luce. They reside in Manassas with their dog, Pepper, and cat, Eve. Contact Melinda
Anthony Gehin - Associate Youth Director
Recently relocated from South Florida, Anthony loves music, food, and creatives. Anthony spends his time at MAG in the creative world. He directs, captures, and edits short films for different activities in the SOURCE, and MAG. He creates digital and print media for many of our coming events church wide. He loves spending time with teens from the SOURCE. Anthony also leads worship and directs Heavy Rain, the SOURCE's worship band.

Andrew Coyne - Facilities Director
Andrew manages the custodial and maintenance teams and keeps the MAG campus clean and running well. Before coming to MAG, Andrew was the Vice President of Operations of major shoe retailer where he managed projects, store renovations, build-outs, maintenance, warehouses, and truck operations. He also has a passion for mission. Andrew helped with MAG's disaster recovery team after Hurricane Katrina, participated in relief efforts in Haiti, and did construction projects at the Eagles Summit Ranch in Colorado. Andrew is also heavily involved in MAG's local missions. He has been married to Caroline Coyne, our Mission Department’s Administrative Assistant, for 21 years. They have one son, Collin. Dr. Charles and Belinda Nestor - Pastor Emeritus
Dr. Charles and Belinda Nestor serve as Pastor Emeritus. Pastor Nestor and Belinda served at MAG as Senior Pastor prior to passing the mantel of leadership to Pastor Scott and Lila Leib. The Nestors currently reside in Florida where Pastor Nestor remains very active in ministry, working on numerous national Christian issues. Recently, Pastor Nestor launched and led Operation Nativity, a nation-wide effort encouraging fellow believers to keep Christ in Christmas by displaying Nativity scenes.
