Pastor Scott Leib - Senior Pastor
Pastor Scott and Lila Leib have been in full-time ministry for 20 years. Scott served at Manassas Assembly of God in a variety of pastoral roles for 14 years before being installed as Senior Pastor in June of 2002. Scott and Lila share a passion to see people come to faith in Christ and to grow in their relationship to Jesus. Pastor Tom Moore - Pastoral Care
Tom is the Pastor of Pastoral Care. His ministry encompasses singles, the senior adults group Young at Heart, ushers, greeters, shut-ins, hospital visitation, benevolence ministry, and counseling. He also leads the Men’s Ministry Missions Building Teams that have worked to build the Agape Gospel Mission Children’s Village in Ghana, West Africa. Pastor Ruth Joudry - Early Childhood Ministries
Ruth serves as the Early Childhood Ministries Pastor. She graduated from North Central University with a B.S. in Church Ministries and is ordained with the Assemblies of God. She has served in ministry for over 25 years along with her husband, Peter. The Joudry family has lived and ministered in three countries. Peter and Ruth came to Virginia from pastoring in Florida in 2005. They are the parents of three grown children and two amazing granddaughters. Contact Pastor Ruth.
Pastor Dwayne Smith - Worship & Creative Arts
Dwayne is our Worship and Creative Arts Pastor. He is a graduate of Evangel University and has been in full-time worship arts ministry for the past 15 years serving churches in the midwest and Seattle, Washington. Dwayne and his wife, Stephanie, have 3 young boys and one girl -- Riley, Braden, Micah, and Cadence.
His days off are spent with his family jumping on the trampoline and taking them to Krispy Kreme and Starbucks.
Favorite pastimes: Kayaking, running, street hockey,skiing and recovering from jumping on the trampoline with his boys.
Favorite book (besides the Bible): Pursuit of God - A.W. Tozer

Pastor Bernice Fielder - Children's Pastor

Bernice is our Children's Pastor.
She was born in Billings, Montana; however, she spent most of her childhood in Kenya, Africa. Most of her adult years have been spent in the Pacific Northwest where she got her BAE and teaching certificate at Eastern Washington University. After she graduated, she went on to teach junior high for seven years, taught ex-pat kids as a missionary associate in the Republic of Georgia for two years, and served as a Children’s Pastor for 5+ years at a church in Shoreline, WA.
She enjoys chatting over a good cup of coffee with friends; loves inspiring others and being inspired; delights in adventure; loves to teach and work with kids; traveling and seeing new things thrill her; and she firmly believes that chocolate is its own food group.
Mexican and Thai food are at the top of her “favorites” list for sure.

Pastor Kevin Hockenbury - Student Ministries
Born in Philadelphia and raised in South Florida, Kevin now serves as the Student Ministries Pastor here at MAG. He and his wife, Stacy, work side-by-side and have a passion for reaching the unreachable.
Three of his main principles for youth ministry are…
- To have students reach students.
- To build a secure foundation in the lives of young people that will hold up for the rest of their lives.
- To show students that they can overcome many obstacles and achieve things that they never thought they could.
What Kevin…does for fun
- watches and plays most sports
- spends time with his wife, dog (Chloe) and cat (Dr. Peter Venkman)
- fishes, which many consider a sport, but it’s really not.
- reads - Any book that challenges him to grow as a minister, Christian or husband. (Has no time for novels)

Pastor Doug Dreesen - Pastor of Mission
Personals:
As the Pastor of Mission, Doug gets to work with some great people doing the great commission. Doug has been a part of the MAG family since 2006. He & Sherri have now lived on both coasts and in between. They are loving life in VA and are the proud parents of two teenagers, Caleb, 16, & Allison, 15.
After spending 16 years as a lay leader along with the occasional pastoral role, he was called into full-time ministry. Doug was raised in a traditional Lutheran-Catholic family, and started following Christ when he was 20, graduated from San Diego Christian College with a business degree, spent 4 years working full-time for the Salvation Army, & graduated with an M. Div. from the Assembly of God Theological Seminary.
Passions:
- loving my wife & kids
- to see people who are far from God, no matter where they are, come into a relationship with Christ and His church.
- to see that church get outside the walls and be the church that Christ intended it to be.
Plays:

Pastor Carl Griffith - Spiritual Formation
Carl is MAG's Spiritual Formation Pastor. He was involved in church ministries for 34 years as a volunteer prior to joining the staff at MAG. He directed the Christian Education ministry at Fairfax Assembly of God for four years. His passion is seeing people come to faith and grow in Christ. Pastor Carl enjoys the beach, working on home projects, and travel. However, his favorite activity is playing with his grandchildren, Jillian and Gavin.
Carl and his wife, Patty, have two sons, Mark and Mike, and a daughter-in-law, Angie, who share their passion for Christ. Contact Pastor Carl.
Pastor Gary West - Media and Communications
Gary West is our Media and Communications Pastor. Gary directs the video production, graphic design, visual art, photography departments of MAG's Worship and Creative arts ministry. Gary is also responsible for event and ministry promotion, as well as the internal and external communication strategy, and managing the web site. Gary is a retired USAF Colonel who served for 27 years as an F-15 & F-16 fighter pilot. Gary’s wife, Colette, serves at MAG as the Senior Pastor’s Administrative Assistant. Gary and Colette have three sons: Preston (wife Wencke), Brandon (wife Andi), and Aaron (wife Naleen). Contact Pastor Gary.

Eveline Adcock - Director, Compassion Ministries
Eveline directs MAG’s Compassion Ministries, including the food and clothes closet. Because of her efforts, MAG is able to open its door to those in need in a meaningful way. Each Wednesday afternoon, she can be seen helping our guests find important food items and select clothing items. Eveline also helps grieving families, providing meals during times of bereavement or hospitalization, and maintains teams of people who visit the sick. Contact Eveline.
Noreen Bryant- Director, Publications
Noreen joined the MAG staff in 2006 after 25 years as a creative director in the corporate and higher education worlds.She has also worked in magazine publishing and journalism. She has a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan. Noreen does most of the writing and graphic design for MAG and also puts out The BigPicture parents' newsletter and the MAG Family Album. She and her husband, Bruce, lead a Life Group and enjoy being involved in the Alpha Course. They have two children, David (a member of the MAG Facilities team) and Madeline. Contact Noreen
Barbara Dripps - Sr. Director of Operations
Barbara joined the MAG staff in 2008 as the Director of Finance. She comes to us with 30 years' experience in Finance, most recently as the Finance Director of the Fairfax County Housing authority. She and her husband, John, have worshiped at MAG for almost 30 years. They've been involved in many different ministries here at MAG over the years, including coordinating the Nursery and leading Royal Rangers and Girls Ministries. Steve McLauchlin - Director of College Ministries
Steve McLauchlin, affectionately known as “Mr. Mac,” has taught high school and college-age Sunday school classes here at MAG for 13 years. As Director of College Ministries, he is responsible for shepherding the Momentum group, ages 18-29. He has a BA in Biblical Studies from Evangel University and is working on his Ph.D. in Religious Studies. Steve worked for 20 years in high-tech telecommunications manufacturing before joining the MAG staff. He and his wife, Lynne, have been married for 27 years and have two children, Stephanie and Ben.
Kevin Myers - Director, Technical Arts
Kevin is our director of all things technical. Kevin directs the sound, light, and projection teams. Without his efforts, no one can see or hear the message. Kevin is one of the most talented audio experts in the business. Kevin brings many years of live and recording experience to this position. He served for many years as the sound tech for various Christian performing artists including many years with the Christian group Glad. Kevin and his wife, Holly, have two boys and one girl. Norm Wingerden - Director, Facilities
Norm directs the entire MAG campus utilization and upkeep efforts. As the Facility Director, Norm manages the custodial and maintenance team. Norm comes to MAG with many years of large facility management experience. His most recent assignment was the campus facility director at Elim Bible Institute. Norm is married to Cindy who also serves at MAG as one of our business office receptionists. Contact Norm.
Dr. Charles and Belinda Nestor - Pastor Emeritus
Dr. Charles and Belinda Nestor serve as Pastor Emeritus. Pastor Nestor and Belinda served at MAG as Senior Pastor prior to passing the mantel of leadership to Pastor Scott and Lila Leib. The Nestors currently reside in Florida where Pastor Nestor remains very active in ministry, working on numerous national Christian issues. Recently, Pastor Nestor launched and led Operation Nativity, a nation-wide effort encouraging fellow believers to keep Christ in Christmas by displaying Nativity scenes.
