Hello everyone at MAG church. God's love and blessings! I am a new missionary to Israel. I am working with Global Teen Challenge and the "Ark in the Negev", Arad, Israel. The "Ark" is the first teen challenge center for women and children in Israel. I sent out my missions letters, fasted and prayed for support. I leave Jan. 1st from BWI. Thank you for your prayers and support. I am praying that MAG (I attended here from 1994-2004, sang in the choir, worked with STAR missionettes and lead bible studies) Please consider supporting me through prayer and gifts. Love gifts may be sent to Global Teen Challenge Attn: Dave Batty P.O. Box 511 Columbus, GA 31902 (put Cynthia Shepherd on memo line)

Hi I got to MAG and the youth group and i have a missionary. we had an encounter at school for the edge club which is a christian club. i told my unique story and prayed with people and helped them with their problems. with help from youth for tomorrow we got 5 new teenagers in the edge club and 10 people wanted to give their life to the lord. When this happened I had to thank the lord for everything. I am a Missionary. praise god.

Hi, I am a member at MAG and I would like to share a testimony. A few weeks ago , I went to work only to be told that my position has been eliminated and such I was laid off. This will be the second time, I have been laid off in the past two years. Obviously I was confused ,angry and shocked but when I got into my car and started the drive home to break the news to my family,I started to thank God singing to a hymn about how holy and wonderful he was. I dont know why I wasnt worried about how I was goingto pay my next rent or bills but I just wanted to thnak God for what was next.. By the time I got home, I began to get so excited about the future and believed that God was going to make a way. My whole mind set and faith in God was so strong that I didnt really worry too much about loosing my job at such a time in this economy. Last two sundays ago, a call was made for those who needed prayers for something they wanted God;s help with and I went forward to be prayed for.God answered when he offered when I got another jon just 6 weeks after loosing my old job which paid better and offered more prospects that the last one. I am extremely grateful to God and wanted to share my story and let those going through a job loss or anything of that sort to remember that God is faithful and always makes a way where there seems to be no way.Thank you

A friend and I are both filmmakers and are passionate about finding other like- minded people. We began to think through forming a Christian group. But, after this series we decided to join a DC based group all ready formed. We met another believer amongst the group and the 3 of us are praying for the group and how we might serve them. It is the better choice.

Our family is excited to go through this packet together. Our boys, Joseph 10, Patrick 8, and Daniel 5, have made a commitment to be missionaries to their friends and peers. They are really excited to follow the steps and as a family, touch lives of those around us. We strongly believe that families, and most importantly, kids, can have the greatest impact on our community by their great example. Just as in Matthew 19:14: Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Colette and I used the Missionary Tool Kit, Operation: Make a Friend plan to meet a new neighbor near us. We brought a banana bread plate with a recipe card with our family info and delivered it to them. We were welcomed warmly and invited in. After chatting a while we walked home to a ringing phone. Our new friend called to leave us with her phone number. This is a small step to what we hope will become a great relationship.
