their problems.
with help from

Hi, I am a member
at MAG and I would
like to share a
testimony. A few
weeks ago , I went
to work only to be
told that my
position has been
eliminated and
such I was laid off.
This will be the
second time, I have
been laid off in the
past two years.
Obviously I was
confused ,angry
and shocked but
when I got into my
car and started the
drive home to
break the news to
my family,I started
to thank God
singing to a hymn
about how holy and
wonderful he was. I
dont know why I
wasnt worried
about how I was
goingto pay my
next rent or bills
but I just wanted to
thnak God for what
was next.. By the
time I got home, I
began to get so
excited about the
future and believed
that God was going
to make a way. My
whole mind set and
faith in God was so
strong that I didnt
really worry too
much about loosing
my job at such a
time in this
economy. Last two
sundays ago, a call
was made for
those who needed
prayers for
something they
wanted God;s help
with and I went
forward to be
prayed for.God
answered when he
offered when I got
another jon just 6
weeks after loosing
my old job which
paid better and
offered more
prospects that the
last one. I am
extremely grateful
to God and wanted
to share my story
and let those going
through a job loss
or anything of that
sort to remember
that God is faithful
and always makes a
way where there
seems to be no
way.Thank you

A friend and I are both
filmmakers and are
passionate about
finding other like-
minded people. We
began to think through
forming a Christian
group. But, after this
series we decided to
join a DC based group
all ready formed. We
met another believer
amongst the group and
the 3 of us are praying
for the group and how
we might serve them.
It is the better choice.

Our family is
excited to go
through this packet
together. Our boys,
Joseph 10, Patrick
8, and Daniel 5,
have made a
commitment to be
missionaries to
their friends and
peers. They are
really excited to
follow the steps and
as a family, touch
lives of those
around us. We
strongly believe
that families, and
most importantly,
kids, can have the
greatest impact on
our community by
their great example.
Just as in Matthew
19:14: Jesus said,
"Let the little
children come to me,
and do not hinder
them, for the
kingdom of heaven
belongs to such as
these."

Colette and I used
the Missionary Tool
Kit, Operation: Make
a Friend plan to
meet a new neighbor
near us. We brought
a banana bread plate
with a recipe card
with our family info
and delivered it to
them. We were
welcomed warmly and
invited in. After
chatting a while we
walked home to a
ringing phone. Our
new friend called to
leave us with her
phone number. This
is a small step to
what we hope will
become a great
relationship.
