Director of Finance

Responsible for accounts receivable and payable activities; payroll and payroll tax reporting; preparing financial statements; internal auditing; development of operating budgets; cost analysis of program expenses; projection of organization’s financial requirements; overseeing insurance and risk management; hiring, training, and retaining finance staff; developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures. A Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or business with minimum of 5 years experience in accounting, 2 years min. accounting supervisory experience, and a basic understanding of non-profit is required. A pool of qualified, dependable childcare providers is being developed to support the childcare needs of the various ministries within MAG. Paid positions are available for ages 14 and older. Volunteer positions are available for ages 11-13.

Requirements: All childcare providers must go through MAG's screening process. Volunteer and paid childcare providers ages 11-15 must complete an approved childcare course such as one offered by the American Red Cross. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES - We are looking for experienced painters to assist in painting the interior of the church. Volunteers are welcome for any of the above mentioned duties.
