Dance is a new facet of worship at Manassas Assembly of God. As we sought to define our goal for dance as part of our worship we went first to scripture for our starting point. 2 Samuel states, “David danced before the Lord with all his might....I will celebrate before the Lord.” With this in mind, our desire is to reach hearts in such a way as to draw them into a freedom of worship before the Lord.   

Currently our dance program incorporates classical and contemporary ballet, hip hop, tap and swing.  Our dancers are both student and professional artists from our own congregation as well as collaboration with an outreach to local dance schools.  Auditions are ongoing. God leads us to worship! Psalm 149:3 is an invitation to dance, “Let them praise his name with dancing.”

Our goal with the Passion Players is to pursue the dramatic arts as a form of worship and intercession, taking the human experience and putting it on stage so that people can be ministered to and hearts can be softened.  We desire to be a team of actors, writers, directors, and visionaries, who pursue excellence in our craft. We hope to create in-house dramas of such high caliber that our works can be used across the country to bless people in multiple arenas. Acting workshops and/or rehearsals are scheduled as needed.
