For Women Only—For Men Only - Men, come to the Multi-Purpose Room and women, come to the Chapel Wednesday evenings at 7:30 beginning June 18 for a special series of gender-specific classes where diverse speakers will share what God has taught them about our unique identities as women and men in the Kingdom.


Changes in Mosaic - Mosaic, our young adult ministry, is now meeting for worship on the second Sunday of every month. Beginning this Sunday, June 8, we’ll meet at 5 pm in the chapel. All adults ages 18-29 are welcome to come out for a great night of worship and to be challenged and encouraged as you follow Christ. Dress comfortably, as we are sure to be playing some volleyball after we meet. We also have special Mosaic Life Groups that meet during the week. Get your FREE Devotional Bookmark - SERVE - Be encouraged as you read passages in God's Word about serving others. It will encourage you. Devotional journals are also available there, in two styles: spiral bound for $6, and leatherette for $8.  Collect all previous books by visiting the slat board in the main foyer.

Join the MAG Prayer Chain - Has God called you to pray for other people? We’re forming a prayer chain made up of teams of prayer warriors. As part of one of these teams, you will be participating in the crucial work of emergency intercession for those in our church family who may be severely ill or have other critical needs. MEET ME FOR COFFEE! - coffee and donut service is now available on the patio before each weekend service. This is a great place to share a bite and bean with someone you haven't met or with a friend. Have a cup and reach out and meet someone. I will look for you there.

Young at Heart Pool Party - Save the date of Saturday, July 19, beginning at noon, for a pool party at Jack & Juanita Miller’s house. Bring your bathing suit and towel, a picnic dish to share, and a friend. This is a perfect opportunity to introduce someone new to our fun-loving group. Sign up at the Welcome Center or call Audrey at 703-368-2895 by Sunday, July 13.

Kids Camp 2008 - Mark your calendars now for Kids Camp 2008, to be held July 21-25 in Gore, VA for boys and girls ages 8-12. Cost is $175 per camper. If you would like more details or would like to volunteer to chaperone, please contact Norma Jean at 703-257-6786 or normajean@magchurch.org.

Join a Life Group - Life groups are active all over the region throughout the week. Life groups are great places to connect relationally with the MAG family. You can join a campus life group or an off campus group by filling out the registration by clicking here.

Don't have time to commit to long term service? - Sometimes your schedule prevents you from joining a long term ministry team or position.  You want to serve somehow but only have limited opportunities.  We have a couple short term opportunities just for you.  Why not sign up to help out with the annual Summer of Service. 

Kids Camp 2008: Can You Chaperone?
Applications for Kids Camp 2008, to be held July 21-25 in Gore, VA, for boys and girls ages 8-12, are due April 13 and are available in the JAM room or at the Welcome Center. If you can chaperone, we need you! Please contact Norma Jean at normajean@magchurch.org or 703-257-6786.

Take Care of Children During Special Events - If you love playing with and caring for small children and you’re at least 14 years old, you can be an on-call child care giver, caring for kids while their parents attend special classes or events here at MAG. This is a paid position. You will need to complete the worker screening process. For details, please contact Tracy at tracy@magchurch.org or 703-368-2895.

If you love to cook food, serve food, eat food, and laugh . . .If you­’re an adult or a student age 11 - 17, we’d love to have you join the HospitalityTeam. We have lots of fun together as we serve our friends and sample all kinds of good food. Contact Melinda at 703-257-4207 or hospitality@magchurch.org if you’re interested in joining the team to work Sundays, Wednesday evenings, or for special events.

Congratulations, Teen Bible Quiz Champs!
Celebrate with the members of MAG’s Teen Bible Quiz, who took first place at the Northeastern Regional Competition and will be advancing to Nationals in Green Bay, WI, this summer. They faced some tough competition and made their MAG family proud.

New Keyless Entry System: We are improving our facility security by operating a new FOB swipe entry system for off hour access. Ministry leaders who need access after hours should contact their Pastor for instructions.
