This family of worshippers is made up of people from all walks of life who have all experienced the life-changing power of Jesus. Though their musical expertise and experience varies, each member has a passion to worship God in “Spirit and in truth.” The vocal ministry strives to bring musical excellence to the house of God, but more than that, they desire to usher in His presence through passionate worship from sincere hearts.

Worship Choir – The Worship Choir is used to lead our congregation into worship. They minister weekly in both Sunday morning services and rehearse every Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM, room 114. You do not need to be able to read music, but you do need to be able to pleasantly match pitches and have a heart of a worshipper. All music is memorized so being consistent to rehearsals is key to our ministry being effective.

 “TEST DRIVE” - Thinking about joining the choir?  We are constantly looking for worship leaders, not just singers. If this describes you, we would love for you to visit one of our rehearsals for a Test Drive. Just drop in, no notification is needed.   

Seasonal-Christmas - If you’ve wanted to be a part of the Worship Choir but couldn’t make a long-term commitment, a great way to use your gifts is to join the Event Choir. You do not need to be able to sightread music or know how to read music at all, but you do need to be able to pleasantly match pitches. Rehearsals begin September 8 and continue until the Christmas worship experience “IMAGINE.” It is open to everyone 6th grade and older. Interested in joining? Auditions Held Oct. 7 - Frontline Worship Team – Several teams minister in our Saturday night service and our Sunday morning services on a rotational basis. They meet on Tuesday evening 7-9pm.  Auditions for the Worship Team are held in the Fall of each year.  Worship Team members are chosen based on musical ability, communication skills, faithfulness to the team, and a passion for worshipping God.  Musically you must have a blendable voice and be able to learn vocal parts quickly and retain them.  Contact brenda@magchurch.org
